How to lock channels, ratings and/or times:
Display the settings menu on the Digital Converter/HD/HDDVR/mDVR iGuide by pressing MENU twice
Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight Setup
Press the arrow keys to highlight Parental Control Setup
Enter your PIN or follow the Create PIN setup instructions on the screen. Note your PIN for future use
Now choose what you would like to restrict. Highlight the Movie Ratings, TV Ratings, TV Content, Channel, Title, Service, Master Locks options, Hide Titles, or PINs setup options. Follow the instructions on the screen
Use the LAST key to exit the various settings
Press arrow keys and the OK/SELECT key to change items
How to Prevent Unauthorized Purchases:
Setting Parental Control may not block unauthorized purchases from being made. Therefore, a Purchase PIN needs to be set up. This will need to be set up within the Digital Converter Interactive Program Guide and not the On Demand Program Guide.
Press Menu key on remote once
From Quick Menu, highlight and select the Parental Controls (Lock icon)
Enter your PIN or follow the Create PIN setup instructions on the screen. Note your PIN for future use
Highlight and select the Channel Locks option
Choose all PPV channels and the VOD channel by following the instructions on the screen. For a complete list of all PPV channels and the VOD channel for your area, please click here (please insert link to CLU)
Use the LAST key to exit the Channel Locks menu
All channels locked will now require a PIN before purchasing will be allowed
