Throughout the month of January, National Bath Safety Month serves as a reminder to practice bath safety. The month is a great time to assess bath safety and make changes if necessary.

Each year the Starkville community comes together for the Red Kettle Campaign. The funds raised during this campaign are used to support families in need and provide Christmas for children who are less fortunate.  

MaxxSouth in Booneville has been chosen by the Banner Independent as a Business Newsmaker for 2021. This is the first time a television or internet provider has been chosen for this award.

January is the beginning of a new year and the perfect time to start the year celebrating National Blood Donor Month.

Worldwide Food Service Safety Month is an annual designation observed in December. The goals of this month are to focus on keeping food safe as it’s prepared in the service industry, as well as reminding us to be safe and cook properly when we are making our own food at home.
